The solar eclipse path of totality on April 8, 2024, was directly over Cleveland for about 4 minutes. We needed to utilize this once-in-a-lifetime event to drive tourism and interest in the city of Cleveland.
To drum up excitement and showcase Cleveland’s unique eclipse-viewing vantage point, we created a game to race through the city to see it. Players passed iconic Cleveland landmarks in a race to downtown or around Lake Erie before the city became engulfed in a total eclipse.
