  • The Ask

    The Mexican Hass Avocado Importers Association (MHAIA) is dedicated to a consistent and reliable supply of avocados from Mexico to the U.S. throughout the year.

    Their outdated website and brand identity needed to be updated to a modern, approachable look and feel and provide their members with easy access to real-time reporting, market data, and industry news.

    It also needed to be a source for a secondary audience that includes researchers, the media, and consumers, who visit the site for trade news and sustainability updates.

  • The Solution

    In designing and developing the new site, we focused on improving navigation, simplifying user experience, streamlining content, and ensuring the highest standards of accessibility. We created a centralized report hub with new reporting dashboard, housing all password-protected reports for easier access to key MHAIA insights and tools.

    We also gave their brand ID a light refresh, modernizing the logo and expanding their color palette to give us more flexibility to tell the MHAIA story.

Key Updates
  • Introduced a distinctive color palette, representing MHAIA’s core pillars: quality, research, community, sustainability, and heritage.
  • Fine-tuned the MHAIA logo to align with the updated website design.
  • Created a live ticker displaying volume data, fed directly from MHAIA’s Power BI reporting to keep audiences informed.
  • Reimagined the member area, making the latest content front and center while adding more intuitive filters.
